Haddo House

Haddo House

The gardens at Haddo have recently been restored to their original Victorian glory and showcase geometric beds planted in a modern interpretation of Victorian formal bedding schemes. Meet the gardeners and learn about this project, the history of the gardens and our plans for the future. Visitors will also enjoy the secluded glades and knolls. A magnificent avenue of lime trees leads to adjacent Haddo country park with its lakes, monuments, walks and wildlife.

Off B999 near Tarves, at Raxton crossroads, 19 miles N of Aberdeen, 4 miles N of Pitmedden and 10 miles NW of Ellon. Cycle - one mile from NCN 1. Bus - Stagecoach Bluebird from Aberdeen bus station 01224 212666, c. 4 mile walk.
