Description

Impressive five acre garden with a large collection of mature shrubs, including over 200 rhododendron species, many camellias, perennials, over 300 hydrangeas and many rare Southern Hemisphere plants. The garden is on a steep hillside running along the rocky shore of the Dee Estuary in Kirkcudbright Bay, close to the beach at the Dhoon and three miles from Kirkcudbright.

Directions

On the B727 between Kirkcudbright and Borgue on the west shore of the Dee Estuary. Parking at Dhoon beach public car park, about three miles south of Kirkcudbright. There is a five to ten minute walk to the house.

£4.00, accompanied children free

The Kirkcudbright Hospital League of Friends receives 20%, Alzheimer's Research UK receives 20%, the net remaining to SG Beneficiaries
