Latch House

Latch House

On top of a hill at 600 feet, giving wonderful views. The one plus acre garden flows round the house with lawns and mixed beds of trees, shrubs and perennials. To the rear, paths run through a wooded area with spring bulbs, rhododendrons and azaleas. There are interesting trees, including seven species of rowan. Little rockeries close to the house surround a paved sunken garden and a small, shelved pond where birds love to bathe. Varieties of poppies and trilliums are favourites with the owners.

Take the B953 from the A90 Inchture junction. Pass through the village of Abernyte. When the B953 bears to the left - approximately a half mile from Abernyte, keep to the right and continue up the hill for another half mile. Latch House is the first house on the left at the top of the hill.
