Westerhouses - NEW FOR 2017

Description

Wonderful garden developed over the last ten years, surrounding an old Borders farmhouse and steading, set within the “Teviot Valley Special Landscape Area”. Challenging conditions at 750 ft high on heavy, wet clay. From rough grassland to hornbeam hedges and borders full of shrubs, perennials, alpines and a few plantaholic’s gems, plus new woodland area. Fabulous views towards Bonchester Hill, Ruberslaw and, on clear days, the Moffat Hills.

Directions

Six miles south of Jedburgh, 3 miles east of Bonchester Bridge, 1 mile north of Chesters. From Jedburgh head south on A68, turn right onto B6357, signposted Bonchester Bridge, after approximately 3 miles take Chesters turn-off, Westerhouses is 1.5 miles down this road on the left.
