Fasque House

Fasque Castle the former family home of William Gladstone four - time PM under Queen Victoria is set deep within its own forested parkland at the end of a drive through a private deer park. The current owners have restored the house to its former glory and the gardens are becoming more stunning each year. Landscaping of the West Garden took place in 2013 with a sunken terrace garden containing a formal pond and a mixture of formal and herbaceous plants. There are some magnificent trees and beautiful long walks in the surrounding woodlands.

Off B974 Cairn O'Mount road 1¼ miles north of Fettercairn.
