Harmony Garden with Priorwood Garden

Description

HARMONY GARDEN: Wander through this tranquil garden, wonderful herbaceous borders, lawns, fruit and vegetable plots, and enjoy fine views of the Abbey and Eildon Hills.

PRIORWOOD GARDENS: Overlooked by the Abbey ruins, this unique garden produces plants for a superb variety of dried flower arrangements made and sold here. The orchard also contains many historic apple varieties. Come along for a tour of Priorwood Garden with our knowledgeable staff to learn about the wide variety of dried flowers grown including annuals, herbs and perennials. See the unique flower drying room and discover the traditional skills of this colourful and aromatic ancient art.

Directions

Off A6091, in Melrose, opposite the Abbey. Bus First from Edinburgh and Peebles.

Garden Openings

Saturday 29 July 10:00am - 5:00pm Please note only Priorwood will be open on this day.
Sunday 30 July 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Admissions

Normal NTS admission applies. Donations for open day welcome.

Seasonal fruits and vegetable sales on trolley at the entrance of Harmony.
