Scotland's Gardens

Stockarton

Stockarton

Description

This charming garden was started in 1994. The aim has been to create small informal gardens around a Galloway farmhouse, leading down to a lochan, where there are a number of unusual small trees and shrubs. In 1996 a small arboretum of oak, including some very rare ones, was planted as a shelter belt.
