Description

Kincarrathie House was originally the home of the whisky baron and philanthropist A.K. Bell (1868-1942).  It is now a beautiful private residential care home for 44 residents. The house sits in extensive grounds, which incorporates 6.5 acres of parkland, a woodland walk and a walled garden of about 1 acre comprising of herbaceous borders, a small orchard and four large vegetable plots providing seasonal produce for use within the home.

Directions

Located on the north east edge of Perth on the A94. From Perth: follow the A94 towards Coupar Angus/Scone and the entrance to the House is at the end of the row of guest houses. From North-East: follow the A94 towards Perth. The entrance to the House is on the road from Scone to Perth just before the built up area begins on that side. Turn right at Kincarrathie House sign.
