The Steading

The Steading at Clunie

Description

The Steading at Newmill is situated on The Lunan Burn midway between Lochs Clunie and Marlee. There is a wild flower meadow that in spring is carpeted with Cowslips and in mid to late June several species of native orchids are in flower. In addition, there is a small cottage garden with a fish pond and a woodland walk along the banks of the Lunan Burn. The area is a haven for wild-life with beavers burrowing into the banks of the mill race.
