Description

Nineteenth century house built of pink stone. Extensive walled garden. Ninety-five yards long herbaceous border, roses, island beds and shrubs, ponds with azaleas and primulas, woodland walk, vegetable garden and greenhouses.

Entrance off the A76 between Thornhill and Carronbridge.

Beneficiaries

The Buccleuch and Queensberry Pipeband receives 20%, The Thornhill Scottish Country Dancers receives 20%, the net remaining to SG Beneficiaries

Other Details

There will be a pipe band and country dance performances at intervals throughout the afternoon. Nearby Holehouse, only 15 minutes drive away is also open on 4 June 12 noon - 3:00pm.
