Kirkton Craig

Kirkton Craig

Description

This ¾ acre garden overlooks the Tay in the Braes of the Carse of Gowrie. The 150-year old high brick walls, which once enclosed the kitchen garden for nearby Abernyte House, today provide shelter for many colourful climbers and plants which are borderline hardy in Eastern Scotland, among them carpentaria californica, callistemon and crinodenron hookerianum. Mature trees and shrubs and colourful mixed borders. Spring bulbs.

Directions

Coming from the A90 Inchture junction, take the B953 to Abernyte village. Opposite the school take a road signposted “Church”. Kirkton Craig is the second driveway on the left.
