Scotland's Gardens

This mature garden was created in the fifties from a small orchard. The present owner is constantly trying to add colour and interest for all seasons. Spring brings a flourish of spring flowers, rhododendrons and azaleas. Trees of all kinds display their constantly changing shades throughout the year and in autumn the acers and copper beech are at their very best. Around every corner there is yet another plant of interest, a goldfish pond or a swing.

On A815. Enter Dunoon on loch side road, right up Cammesreinach Brae just before the Royal Marine Hotel opp W Ferries terminal. The Brae becomes George Street, Fairwinds is on left.
