Our garden surrounds a new eco house and was started five years ago. Being retired we planted mostly shrubs and easy maintenance plants. The two spectacular glacial kettles and a dew pond have become planted features.Round the house are herbaceous plants for extra colour. There is a fruit and vegetable garden with poly tunnel used to propagate plants for the garden and a wild flower meadow. The garden extends into the surrounding woodland, run on a continuous cover basis, with woodland walks and a viewpoint down to Findhorn Bay and the hills to the north.
Turn east at the war memorial at the north end of Rafford on the B9010. Go uphill 400m and take the drive into the wood on your right marked Knock House.
