This new town garden of half an acre on the edge of Kirkcudbright has been developed by the owners from scratch over the past nine years. It has a remarkably mature appearance already and is packed with colour and a huge variety of thriving plants, shrubs and trees, all carefully tended. There are two small ponds connected by a rill, with fountains at each end, herbaceous beds, gravel beds and a variety of statuary and garden structures. The garden is in a lovely position overlooking the River Dee.
Coming in to Kirkcudbright via the A711 and Tongland Bridge, on the outskirts of the town pass the Arden House hotel on the left. Glenlivet is about half a mile further on the right. It is exactly half a mile from the town centre crossroads on the Tongland Road. Parking is on the main road.
