Glenkyllachy Lodge

Description

In a magnificent Highland glen, at 1150ft Glenkyllachy offers a glorious garden of shrubs, herbaceous plants, rhododendrons, trees & spectacular views down the Findhorn River. There are some rare specimens and an embryonic arboretum.  Rhododendrons and bulbs flower in May/June, herbaceous plants bloom through July/August. Experience the wild flower meadow in summer & glorious autumn colours from September. Original sculptures and a ‘Highgrove-inspired’ wall provide year-round interest.

Directions

Turn off A9 at Tomatin and take the Coignafearn/Garbole single track road down the north side of the River Findhorn, there is a cattle grid and gate on the right 500 metres AFTER the humpback bridge and the sign to Farr.
